The linework of these tattoos are extremely hard to pull off due to the symmetric nature of the design and dots and shading are used to accentuate it.
A mandala tattoo when done correctly is a beautiful piece that can either be used as a gap filler or something that is even more beautiful than you originally imagined. I like to draw mandalas directly onto the skin that way the design flows with the natural shape of your body. Sometimes it can be very hard to translate a stencil onto the skin and this is one of those times.
